About Decks & Effects: We are a locally owned and operated company, established in Lake, Geauga & Cuyahoga Counties since 1996. We are licensed, bonded & insured for all jobs, and register with many cities in the tri-county area. Owner is on-site for all jobs. All of the photos on our website represent projects completed by Decks & Effects and are not stock or "borrowed" photos. We do not use high pressure tactics or demand that you sign on the day of your estimate in order to receive "special pricing". All of our quotes are based on fair cost for materials & labor. All materials are high quality. We use a variety of composite decking (such as Veranda or Trex), premium grade lumber, porcelain coated screws and impact resistant - low voltage deck lighting. We have hundreds of references available for all types of residential and commercial jobs.
