I was born in Montreal, Canada and moved to Oakland, California in 1977. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1985, I entered the Macy's department store training program and eventually became a Buyer and Regional sales manager for a variety of clothing and gift lines. Just prior to becoming a Realtor, I was a regional sales manager, based in New York, for a men’s hosiery line. I purchased my first piece of real estate when I was 18 years old and have lived in the Oakland neighborhoods of Crocker Highlands, Montclair, Redwood Heights, Glenview, Piedmont Avenue and Hillcrest Highlands, Berkeley, Stamford (Connecticut) and now reside in Piedmont, California. To this day, I remain a die-hard "bear backer" for the University of California, Berkeley and can frequently be found screaming in the stands at football and basketball games.
