We are a design build company that means we give a free initial consaltation which includes a verbal estimate and design ideas as well as information about our company with a refernce list and letters.t this time we would have you sign a design agreement and we will work with you to create the design that has your dreams come true. After the design is completed we start the bidding process which includes sight visits to your home with the various tradesmen which is somewhat time consuming and this process insures a accurate bid for all party's concerned.How ever with the time we spend with you and our subs we get a deposite for putting the estimate together the deposite will range from $500.00 to $1000-00 depending on the size of remodel or new home, the deposite will be refunded to you when the work commences or it can be taken off of the bid price.Our bids are a fixed price not to change unless the home owner makes changes after work has started or something unforseen accures while work is being performed.If one of these accure the cost will be sent to the home owner in writing and signed for, before the work on the extras will begin.D A Johnson Inc pulls all permitts and will be responsible for passing all inspections.D A Johnson is fully insured with worker comp. and liability insurance of one million.We have a excellent ratting with the BBB, We are a member of the Home Builders Association, In the past I sat on the board of directors for the remodel councell in Colorado Springs.
