About The Foothills Handyman: The Foothills Handyman was started in 2007 as a part time job to fill gaps in income due to seasonal or weather related work slow downs as I was working in concrete delivery. In February 2008 it became full time when I lost my job and was unable to find suitable full time work. My name is Larry Burnett and I am the handyman. On occasion I may use a helper or subcontractor but mostly its just me. I am registered with The State of Connecticut as a home improvement contractor (H. I. C. 0618701)and carry the appropriate business insurance. Estimates are free. There is a minimum charge which varies depending on travel and covers the first hour. Handyman services are $50.00 an hour beyond that. Some projects are priced per job. I consider myself to be like the handyman of yesteryear, like the handyman your grandparents or great-grand parents might have called (or contacted) when they needed ANYTHING done around the house.
