About Sheldon, Dr. Lee N.: We are a full service dental office, primarily working with dental implants and dental reconstruction as well as headaches and TMJ issues. We have both a periodontist and two general dentists on staff. Dr. Sheldon is well established in the community as a columnist in Florida Today as well as a featured guest on WMEL radio and BrightHouse television. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Florida College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sheldon is also known for the service-marked Solid Bite, a dental implant service providing for tooth replacements that are firmly fixed in place. He was the first surgeon in central Florida to use the computer designed system called Teeth in an Hour, where through computer imaging a patient had implants and a permanent teeth placed on the same day. Dr. Sheldon is also one of only 100 offices in the country to use a periodontal endoscope to assist in successful, non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease. A camera, no wider than the head of a pin is placed below the gum line so that our hygienists can see the bacterial deposits on the root surface and remove them.
