About Ken Birke Kmc Construction: I have been in the residential construction industry since 1994. I have built custom, production and multi family homes. I have done custom remodels and finished basements. In 2007 after the housing bubble mess I found myself self employed. I decided to start a company. While I am not currently licensed as a contractor I am persuing options to get licensed as soon as possible. A majority of the work I currently perform does not require a license and I am insured with all the proper liability coverage. I use subscontractors when I cannot do the work myself or am not qualified. I do not charge for estimates.
