About ZenScape Gardens By Design: ZenScape is a small Landscape Garden Design company. Jade Castillo, the owner of ZenScape began her career as a freelance gardener. She got her Master Gardener's Certification from Washington State University Extension branch in Bremerton, WA. She has since transformed hundreds of gardens throughout Kitsap County, near her hometown on Bainbridge Island. Jade has recently moved to Hawaii to extend her studies in tropical landscape gardening via the Master Gardener’s program at UH Manoa. Castillo currently registered with The New York Institute of Art & Design is working toward another certification specific to Landscape Garden Design which include but not limited to the installation of hardscapes, softscapes, outdoor living areas with structures, water features and lighting. ZenScape is the epitome of sustainability with thoughtful sourcing of earth-friendly materials and organic plant products while preserving our fragile natural ecosystem as much as possible. ZenScape is a proud Member of Landscape Industry Council of Hawai'i, The National Association of Landscape Professionals and Aloha Arborist Association.
