About Gunderson & Sons Consrtuction: My father and I started this company back in the late eighties. After running it successfully for four years he suddenly passed away. I finished out my contractural obligations and closed the doors for about four years, retaining the name. After bouncing around I found myself wanting to be my own boss once again. So now I became the Gunderson and my three boys became the sons of what is now our company. We do all types of both residential and commercial remodeling. We build custom homes, we still do bathrooms, kithcens, and basements. I have since reopened the business back in 1996 and continue to do so today some 14 years later. I only have employees when the occasion warrants it, otherwise I use sub contractors when and where needed. I am very much a hands on owner who still self peforms many aspects of the remodeling myself, and on occasion with the help of my three sons. I am licenesed in many villages in the northwest suburbs of chicago. I am fully licensed, bonded and insured. All Angies list customers will get a 10% discount on all major remodeling work. Our company motto is every bit as true today as it was over 20 years ago; building and remodeling homes for life. We offer a one year warranty from the completion date of the project against material and workmanship defects should they occur. I have many references available upon request.
