About Chavez Decorating: Chavez Decorating is proud to say that we are located in the community of Hillsdale Kansas and only a few miles from the Southwest Kansas City metro area. Our company is a family operated painting company with over 20 years of experience painting residential homes. Currently, Chavez Decorating is composed of a husband and wife team. Robert Chavez learned everything he knows about the painting business from his father who ran a successful painting business in the Denver area. Robert can remember going to work with his father as a young boy and he worked with his father until 2003, when his father retired. Shortly after that time, Robert decided to open Chavez Decorating in his hometown of Denver. Kristie Chavez joined the business after graduating from college in 2007 and the business was relocated to Kansas on August 1st, 2007. Even though the business was successful in Denver, Robert and Kristie thought that moving to a growing community would provided more opportunity for the business to grow! In addition, Kristie's parents live in Hillsdale Kansas and the move to Kansas brought her closer to her parents! Here at Chavez Decorating, we believe in building strong relationships with our customer and we are proud to say that Chavez Decorating has many great references! For example, Kathy from Spring Hill stated in a recommendation letter that, “the detail work was meticulous and there was absolutely no clean-up. You finished in the time that you allotted and did an absolutely wonderful job. We are extremely pleased. It is a paint job that will last for many, many years."
