About Aqua-Clear Pools & Spas: Aqua-Clear Pools & Spas has been serving the consuming public and some public/commericial customers since 1990. We specialize in in-ground swimming pool construction and revovations of fiberglass, vinyl lined, and concrete pools. We build/install projects worthy of industry design/installation awards and have won several over our years in business. Likewise, we carry the premium line of Hot Springs brand name portable spas along with several other brands manufactured by their parent company, Watkins Manufacturing. We staff our business with skilled professionals in our retail store and on our construction and service crews. The majority of the work on our installations of vinyl lined and fiberglass pool installations/renovations is performed by our 'on staff' crews. However, we utilize some subcontractors for the highly specialized trades for the installation/renovation of our concrete pools to ensure that our customers receive the best quality workmanship available. We maintain a NC Building Contractor's license (#67561), carry the Certified Building Professional (CBP) certification thru our trade association -- the APSP, are Certified Pool Operators (CPO's) thru the National Pool Foundation, and maintain our special class license (#19830-SP-SP) for the 'electrical bonding' of pools & spas thru the NC Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors. Our construction & renovation projects require a deposit up front and then all payments beyond that are in direct correlation to work perfomed at various stages of the project as defined in the agreement to perform the work on the front end of our dealings with our customers. We do bill for travel/trip charges for services that are not covered under warranty terms and provisions. These rates vary depending on the area to which we need to travel to service products for our customers. We typically will have various products 'on sale' with pricing advantages to our customers throughout each year. Aqua-Clear always rewards former happy, referring clients for referrals that end up doing business with us. We track all our advertising as new potential customers contact us and word of mouth is by far the #1 means by which we generate our new sales.
