Our metal supply company, Englert Inc, provides us with true American made metal of the highest quality and we have been using it for more than 16 years. The standard installed system that we provide consists of 24 Gauge galvalume with a Kynar 500 finish which is Energy Star Rated and is warrantied for 35 years. Every pan is roll formed on site and we mechanically lock our 1 1/2" seams which is the only way to achive a UL rating for uplift, and we also offer snow gaurd and snow fencing options to help protect any areas of concern against sliding snow fall. A 5/8" backer rod is installed under each pan to add rigidity and strength, and provides added ventilation to a 16" vented ridgecap (8" down either side of the peak) which is installed last to ensure full coverage versus the standard 8" ridgecap (4" down either side of the peak) that's installed first and the pans are slid under which only leaves about 1 1/2" of coverage. Combine all of this and you are left with the finest standing seam system available today.
