About 1968: I am recently retired from 37 years of military and local law enforcement public service. I started Appalachian Home Finishing almost 20 years ago as a part time hobby activity. During this time I performed finishing work on site built and modular homes doing things such as drywall, finish carpentry, installing fixtures, installing floors, building decks, installing exterior siding, etc. All of the things necessary to finish a home and deliver it to the customer. This eventually led into general remodeling of baths and kitchens. I am experienced in all areas of general home construction and prepared to address your needs both inside and out. During my time contracting projects for people they have expressed three consistent frustrations with contractors. These have led me to three beliefs in how i approach my business. 1. I will show up when I say I am going to show up! 2. I will do what I say I am going to do! 3. If it is wrong, I will fix it! What can you expect from me?
