About Misty Pines Dog Park Co: Misty Pines has 25 acres of fun, dog friendly park grounds. Walking trails, a pond with a dock for swimming and dock diving, a 1/2 acre fenced in agility yard and more are all available for use. While you're at the park, please visit our retail store to stock up on food, treats, toys and other essentials. Though we do not allow aggressive dogs in our park, we do work with them to help them overcome their fears, anxieties and other aggression causing problems during consultations and behavior modification sessions. In addition to behavior modification, we offer obedience, agility, therapy, service/assistance, hunting, small breed, 'kids and family' and other dog training classes. Our full service grooming salon is capable of meeting all your grooming needs. From trims to breed specific cuts to shave downs, we can do it all. All grooms include a bath, nail trim and ear cleaning. Our experienced grooming staff can also grind and paint nails, brush and clean teeth, express anal glands and much more. We offer spa treatments that include indulgent moisturizing shampoos and facial scrubs and we also have various shampoos to help with sensitive skin, dandruff, skin allergies and de-skunking. Flea baths are also available. Our boarding kennels are exceptional! Heated floors, automatic watering bowls, Karuda beds and clean, sanitary quarters not only provide the basic essentials, but also provide all the "creature comforts" a dog could want. You're welcome to bring your dog's favorite rubber toy or bone to enhance their vacation. A la carte activities include playtime, walks, cuddle time, play ball/frisbee, geriatric playtime and training. Though training can be added to any stay we do have a Boot Camp option, during which a dog will stay with us for 2 weeks and receive daily training sessions on any behaviors or obediences you would like. Our boot camp is designed to work on your specific goals and then teach you how to remain consistent and keep the training going in the home. You will have a 1 hour private lesson when you pick up your dog from boot camp, during which time we will show you how we trained your dog, what collars, leashes, treats or other tools that we used, and how you can retain this level of training upon returning the dog to your home.
