About Brett Govro Professional Painting: Hi, My name is Brett Govro. I've been painting since 1994, I got into it thinking it would be an easy way to make a living, Boy howdy did I have a rude awakening. The first company I worked for only did multimillion dollar homes and the amount of detail that goes into those jobs was amazing, hence I'm a very detail orientated painter from my learning in a very high end field of construction. I take Great pride in my work and am on all the jobs working along side my people. I don't subcontract out my work, I'm hands on for all my jobs. after all, it's my name on it at the end and it's going to be something that stands the test of time, you have my word on that. I use only top quality paints, stains, varnishes, primers. I only have 3 people working for me full time and only take on one job at a time. That way every job gets my full attention. Between the 3 of us there is about 50 years of experience. The state of Texas does not require me to be licensed for the field of painting but in Collier county Florida (lic#30553) I took and passed a competency test for my trade, an OSHA safety and a business test. I keep it dormant, just so I have it and in case I ever have an opportunity to go work there again. After hurricane IKE I spent 9 months in Galveston working to help build it back up and that's why I keep the lic in Florida for when it happens again. I Will travel for the right job and that's why I carry $2.000.000.00 in liability insurance that's good anywhere in the country and in the three years I've been in business for myself have never had to use it (Thank you Lord). my company is very conscientious of keeping a very clean work site and about covering up EVERYTHING before starting any work, besides it makes for a safer work environment, and safety is a great concern in my company for obvious reasons, yours and ours and your property is a concern and a priority to us. We pride ourselves on our safety record, 0 accidents in our three years. We charge nothing for an estimate of your project, there are no hidden fees nor is there a charge for travel time. my fees are based only on the work performed and I have a few different ways of charging as there are so many different situations to every job.
