About Custom Fence Works Inc: Locally owned & operated. Custom Fence Works is a small business who serves the greater Hampton Roads are and Northeastern N.C. We are licensed in the state of Virginia and insured by Erie Insurance Co. When you call for a FREE estimate for your new fence, deck, screen porch, or other outdoor project you will be speaking to the owner of the company and he will be the one who meets with you for your estimate. We have a total staff of six people, including the owner, who will be there for the installation of your fence or deck. The majority of all work is performed by Custom Fence Work's employees. The only thing that is subcontracted out is specialty areas such as roofing, electrical, plumbing, or vinyl siding and wrapping. This usually is only with the bigger projects such as screen porches or sheds. We handle everything from calling the utility company to mark underground lines, pulling all applicable building permits & complete site cleanup.
