From project start to finish, we use subcontractors only when necessary because “If you want it done right, you do it yourself.” All of our project managers are skilled and experienced carpenters that have been refined by knowledge of the other trades, and demand the highest quality results. We don't believe in managing from an office, we manage onsite building your project. We have built strong relationships with many plumbers, electricians, and HVAC contractors - and our projects managers are always looking for ways to work more efficiently and cohesively with these trades. Our experienced design team is not only "in house" but often on site. That's correct; our designers actually know how to build what they draw! What does this mean to you? Typically a client works with a designer to produce drawings. These drawings are given to a builder to interpret and build. Your final product is therefore the builder’s interpretation of the drawings, and not necessarily matching your unique vision. Our designers and builders are constantly working together both at the "drawing board" and in the field to assure your vision becomes a reality. If you'd like, we can even produce a 3D image before we begin construction! We do not believe in hidden charges or package pricing. When you hire another company that offers "free design services" or "free 3D modeling," you don't actually get these services for free - they charge more for construction and up-charge for materials to cover these costs. Stein Construction and Design only charges you for the services you want and always with up-front pricing. We can even suggest ways to save money!
